We were told two weeks ago that we had to have our costumes finished by today.
Finished finished.
Because we were to have a photoshoot.
Then, the photoshoot is abruptly canceled.
We still had a meeting anyway to see where everyone was and how things were going.
My costume could go out on stage right now. There are things that could (and will be) ajusted or tweaked, but, for all intents and purposes, it is done.
The other girls have not even started on theirs.

Anyway, that just endears me to my boss and increases the likelyhood that my contract will be renewed.
I still have not come up with a name I love yet, but I am still thinking.
(also, since I have neglected to mention this as of yet, I am going to be a mermaid)
